Spicy Potato Wedges

These oven fries are so good, you won't want to dip them in anything!  They have so much wonderful flavor packed in, they make the perfect side our case, burgers :)  The recipe made its way to my table via Taste of Home, one of my favorite sites for everyday cooking.

1/4 cup canola oil
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons garlic salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon paprika
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
3-1/2 pounds large red potatoes, cut into wedges (I used good old russets)

In a large bowl, combine the first eight ingredients; add potatoes and toss to coat. Arrange in a single layer on greased baking sheets.

Bake at 400° for 30-35 minutes or until potatoes are tender and golden brown, turning once. Yield: 8 servings.
